Worker Shortage in the Real Key West?

[Orlando] "Cabrera, executive director of the Florida Housing Finance Corp., said he recently was in Key West -- one of the most-expensive areas of the state -- and was told several businesses had closed because they could not find workers. Similarly, Edie Ousley, a spokeswoman for the Florida Home Builders Association, said some builders in areas such as Southwest Florida are busing in construction workers from other counties to put up pricey housing."

I believe this is true, but I don't know myself of any businesses that have closed and given this as a reason.

It reminds me though of two businesses that recently changed hands, and that are written up in the business section of the Sunday Citizen today. See here.
