Captain Bill - Enroute?

No word from Captain Bill for a couple of days now. (I guess that there's no wireless internet on AMTRAK.) He took the Southwest Chief from Los Angeles to Chicago on Friday; Should arrive in Chicago today some time. Then it's on to Washington, D.C., and then Ft. Lauderdale. I'll bet it's an interesting way to spend a holiday, on cross-country trains.

Reverend Randy Becker left a comment on my last report, saying that if was any time other than Christmas he'd have meet Bill at Union Station to greet him and speed him on his way back to Key West. Randy is the new minister at the Unitarian-Universalist Fellowhip Key West, arriving on February 1. We met Randy and his wife Elissa when they visited Key West a couple of times, once before accepting the pastorate and once since. They'll be living just up the block from us on Thomas St., across the street from the dominoes game that goes on nearly every night.

Bill arrives in Ft. Lauderdale on Wednesday. I'm sure he'll have stories to tell once he's back in Key West. Godspeed if you're readng this Bill.
