Surprising news

This news caught me completely by surprise. I ran into the City Attorney at Home Depot yesterday. If he knew it, he didn't say anything. Conchette delivers her assessment at the Tampon Blogger just three hours ago.

There's an article in the Citizen about it today. The Circuit Court did an "administrative dismissal" due to lack of filing of a joint scheduling order. It will resume once that's worked out.

It's my understanding the problem with getting the scheduluing order filed was due to the City Attorney refusing to be "served". Just one more day in the life around here....

Not exaactly, my friend. First, it was the Federal District Court, not the Circuit Court that dismissed the TAMPOA federal suit. Second, the Judge never said anything about an "administrative" dismissal. That word is part of the spin some who don't want to take responsibility for what happened are trying to put on the story.

The Citizen reported our story, but the explanation from those at the center of the storm who were quoted by the Citizen is a wee bit on the disingeneous sideof the ledger. You might want to take a closer look at what are the real facts. There is an article in the TAMPON Blog about the spin some are trying to put on the dismissal.

The legal mumbo-jumbo may be slightly off, but the net is the same. The suit continues after an unplanned delay. Most folks aren't obsessing over it.
